Echoes For Company

Capturing the feel of walking through the empty factories in Detroit was tricky, I knew that framed prints would have looked good, the colours in the images stood out really well but I wasnt happy with them.
Eventually after alot of experimentation, frustration (and at times my printer was close to being thrown out of the window), I found the look that I wanted. The finished images are printed on aluminium panels which are first spray painted, scratched and basically ruined, then mounted on custom made aluminium frames, it all sounds quite a lot of hassel but I think it works
It was good actually getting my hands dirty with the printing as well and actually made the final outcome feel more like fine art than photography. All prints sold will be individual as well, because of the process of doing this, no 2 prints and backgrounds will be the same.

The prints will be shown at The Brick Lane Gallery (Annexe) from the 24th November to the 4th December.
